They Take 50% and Then Steal the Rest – The Truth About StudyDaddy.com SCAM

As a qualified tutor with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, I joined StudyDaddy.com with the intention of offering professional help to students—particularly in technical subjects like programming and data structures. I expected to work hard, earn honestly, and get paid fairly for my efforts.

Unfortunately, what followed was a frustrating and dishonest experience that I feel obligated to share with others. If you're a tutor—or even a student—consider this a serious warning before using this platform.

StudyDaddy SCAM

🛠 How It Started

I registered on StudyDaddy and began receiving tutoring requests. After answering many student questions and receiving positive feedback, I began accumulating earnings.

However, StudyDaddy has a strange system: even after completing work and receiving positive ratings, your earnings are locked for 45 days before they become available for withdrawal. I waited patiently.

💸 First Withdrawal Request Ignored

After the 45-day lock period, I submitted my first withdrawal request on May 7, 2025, for $116.75.

I was told that payments are made at the end of the month or early the next—so I waited again.

When the beginning of June arrived and nothing was sent, I contacted support. They responded vaguely, saying it would be processed during the June payment cycle. I waited once more.

⏳ More Delays, No Payment

As the end of June approached, I asked again. This time, instead of giving me a specific date, they began dodging my questions and ultimately suspended my account after I insisted on knowing when I’d receive my payment.

🤯 Double Standards Exposed

Before the suspension, I told them I would pause my work and stop answering questions until I received my money. In response, they quickly refunded pending student orders I hadn't completed.

That proved one thing:
👉 They can return student payments instantly when it suits them.
❌ But when it's time to pay tutors for completed work, they create endless excuses.

📺 Not Just Me – Other Tutors Scammed

This isn’t an isolated case. Many other tutors have experienced similar scams with StudyDaddy. There are online reviews and even YouTube videos warning freelancers to stay away.

💬 Their Final Excuse

When I asked why they can refund students but refuse to pay me for completed work, they didn’t answer.
They simply suspended my account—and that said everything I needed to know.

They’ve taken their 50% commission from my work, and yet they refuse to pay my share.

❌ Final Message to Tutors

Do NOT work with StudyDaddy.com under any circumstances.
They will steal your time, your effort, your work, and your money.

The platform operates with zero accountability, and once they have what they want, they will discard you.

I’m publishing this to protect others from falling into the same trap.
